Who we are
- AERÉ is a sleep and everyday-wellness home brand based in Hangzhou, China, designing twenty things for the hour before bed.
- AERÉ is designed by a small team of young, research-trained people in Hangzhou. We read the sleep science, the material data and the complaints before we draw anything — because we built these things to fix our own nights first. Nothing here claims to treat a condition. Every product names the complaint it answers, and nothing else.
Why twenty
- Because sleep is not one problem. It is light, sound, weight, warmth, and scent arriving at once — so we make one good thing for each, and stop there.
How we design
- Start from the complaint, not the category. Every product page names the complaint it answers and where we read it.
- Ship a shape that solves it, not features that decorate it.
- We start from the complaint, then ship the shape that solves it. Each product page begins with one sentence of what goes wrong at bedtime, and answers it.
What we will not say
- We do not claim to treat anything.
- We do not invent certifications we have not passed.
- A certification mark appears on a product only once we hold that certificate for that product, and the certificate number appears with it. Until then, the page says nothing about certification.
