Scenario · 4 things

Too hot, too cold

AERÉ makes four things for a bed that will not hold one temperature — a weighted blanket built to breathe, a throw that warms, a gel pillow that runs cool and a throw for the warm hours. None of them cools the room, and AERÉ does not claim one does.

Where you are

Two people, one duvet: one asleep under it, one with a leg out and a hand near the radiator. Or one person, who throws the covers off at two and pulls them back at four, and is tired of both by morning.

What you actually want

A bed that does not have to be renegotiated every hour. Warm where you are cold, cool where you are hot, and something that stays where you put it.

What changes in the room

Temperature is a local problem, so AERÉ answers it locally. Anchor is weighted, but built in layers instead of one hot sheet. Cozy spreads heat across a throw and switches itself off. Gel is a cooling gel pillow that feels cool when it touches you. Cool is a throw for the room that runs warm — it feels cool on contact, and it does not lower the temperature of anything except itself. A blanket that can be set to a range of temperatures is not in this range yet.
